Store Policy

custom orders

As a result of lessons learned, this policy is not flexible. Any order over $50.00 will have to have a deposit of at least 20% of the total cost if not made online before the order will be accepted and an invoice issued. Custom orders, in which I have to order your materials, will also require a 20% deposit prior to materials being ordered. This 20% however will not be refundable once the materials have been ordered should you cancel the order.

We believe your business is no one else's. Your privacy is important to you and to us. So we'll protect the information you share with us. To protect your privacy, E&J Desert Candle Co. follows different principles in accordance with worldwide practices for customer privacy and data protection. 

     *We won't sell or give away your name, mail address, phone number, email address, or any other information to anyone.

NOTICE

We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is requested when you enter a contest or order email newsletters.

MINIMUMS

​

24 Candles must be purchased. The desired vessel can be negotiated. Know that this can adjust the cost. 

​

a minimum of 4 scents. The buyer can request specific scents if they wish or this can be negotiated.  Items that are purchased for the purpose of resale cannot be sold at a lower price than the price on the website or the retail price listed on the Product Line Sheet. If the seller wishes to sell at a discounted price, the seller must indicate at the point of sale that the price is a discounted price being offered by the seller.

EXCHANGES

Scents may be exchanged for a more preferable scent as long as it is in the same quantity that was originally purchased. For instance, if the buyer wishes to exchange six (6) candles for whatever reason, six (6) candles in the new scent must be purchased. We are very flexible with this rule.

DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

If the buyer/seller is local the delivery of the items can be negotiated. Otherwise, shipping will be paid by the purchaser at current shipping rates. The shipping method (i.e., USPS, UPS, Fedex) can be negotiated or designated by the purchaser.

PAYMENTS

At least 50% of the total cost is required as a deposit. This deposit is not refundable should you (the buyer) choose to back out of the purchase. It can and will be returned should I not be able to fulfill the purchase as with any retail purchase.

DELIVERY TIME

7-14 days. Due to COVID-19, there have been delays with shipping with USPS and some other carriers. Each shipment however will have a tracking number so that the buyer can be aware of the location of their order.  Largr orders may take longer due to shipping from vendor and product availability.

SHIPPING

Goods ship via USPS however this can be negotiated. USPS is generally used as it currently is the cheapest. 

​

REFUNDS

Any goods that are defective or broken during shipment will be refunded or replaced. It is our goal to ensure that everyone that purchases from us is satisfied with their purchase whether wholesale or retail.

-Although we would like to, we currently do not accept credit cards to keep our prices as low as we can as we would have to charge you the surcharge that credit card companies charge us (kinda like going to Arco and having to pay the 65 cents for a debit transaction)
