"It builds Character"

E&J Desert Candle Company is a husband & wife (E&J) run company. The majority of the named, handcrafted items in our store have a specific scent but are named by our children. We make hand-poured candles, Reed Diffusers, Beaded Sachets, Room/Linen Sprays, wax melts, and cold process soaps for the everyday person. We try and keep our prices reasonable because enjoying a nice scent shouldn't break the bank.

Erick, an Air Force Brat and Desert Storm Veteran, retired from the San Bernardino Police Department in 2013. "What's Next" is one of his many mottoes as he is always looking to better himself and find new and exciting opportunities. "It builds character" and "everything is earned, nothing in life is given" are two of his other favorites. Erick started E&J Desert Candle Co. as a fun hobby and to pass some time. His hobby turned into a passion when he learned that his candles brought others joy and comfort.

As a family-oriented man, Erick is a father of 3 boys and 1 girl and husband to his best friend Jeana. His family and his faith in God are the nuclei of his world.  His natural caring and goofy personality are contagious and all who have the pleasure of meeting him appreciate his cheerful spirit.

Jeana, the brains behind the business, is the creative side. She comes from a family that has had their own businesses, her father a caterer, and her sister who designed her own jewelry. She has worked in law enforcement for the past 18 years. God and her family are also her nuclei. Jeana joined Erick when they realized that candle-making was going to be more than a mere hobby and Erick really enjoyed creating them.

Together we created E&J Desert Candle Co. where we now create hand-poured scented candles, wax melts​ , Reed Diffusers, Beaded Sachets, and room/linen sprays for the everyday person. Hopefully, we can make something special for you.
